As you may already know, foreigners who want to buy a property in Thailand have the choice between:
- A long term leasehold (usually a renewable lease of 3 times 30 years);
- Freehold purchase through a Thai registered company of which more than 50% is owned by Thai citizens;
- Freehold purchase of a property defined by the Condominium Act (usually called "freehold condominium").
The third option seems the most attractive to most. Yet it generally concerns only appartment units.
But not always!
Indeed, some -extremely rare - developers offer houses with garden and swimming pool this way. It is the case of the project illustrated below, starting at THB 11,400,000 ($365,000).
Of course, only 4 units are left: First come, first served !
